Obituary

Sadly, Vickie Campbell peacefully passed away on July 2, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. Vickie was born on June 19, 1970, in Waterville, Maine. Vickie had a heart of gold. She had the greatest personality, and she was always happy bubbly, and always smiling. She was funny, adventurous, and well known for her phrase, "Oh Duh" or "Whatever". She loved living life. Vickie enjoyed spending time with the love of her life Matt; their three fur babies Ruger, Marshall and Ranger; her children, grandchildren and family. Vickie enjoyed going to the range to target practice. She also enjoyed going on adventures with Matt in their three fur babies. In her early years she enjoyed roller-skating at Happy Wheels Roller Rink, motorcycle riding, and playing pool. She had worked for the department of Human Services for many years and her most recent years, she worked as a security guard supervisor. Vickie is survived by her mother Evelyn Campbell and her significant other Paul Fortier of Livermore Falls; mother-in-law Leta Myers and her father-in-law Greg Myers of Arizona; the love of her life, Matthew Myers of Augusta; her three children, daughter Mandie Sawyer and her significant other Paul of Fairfield, son Justin Sawyer, and his significant other Alyssa of Winslow, and her son Jacob, his significant other Kayla of Winslow; her grandchildren Dominic, Jayden Chloe, Carson, Dallas, Jaelyn, Amiyah and Aiyanah; three sisters, Sue and husband, Joe of Oakland, Tammy, and Al Davis of Jay Kim, and Jerry of Oakland; her brother Roger Junior, and his wife, Michele of Winthrop several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Roger Campbell, sister Tracy Campbell, paternal grandparents Maurice and Ella Campbell, maternal grandparents, Edward and Gertrude Quimby. There will be a graveside service at 1 PM at the Lewis Cemetery on the Cottle Road in Oakland, Maine. There will be a Celebration of Life to follow at her sister's home, 30 Stoneybrook Drive, Oakland Maine. Services are under the care of Wheeler Funeral Home, 26 Church Street, Oakland.
