BELGRADE- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Scott Guimond, who passed away on July 21, 2026, at the age of 43.
Scott was born on November 29, 1982, in Concord, Massachusetts. He lived a life filled with love, adventure, kindness, and deep devotion to those closest to him. Scott found joy in hiking, traveling, playing video games, and making memories with family and friends. Above all, he cherished spending time with his beloved dogs, Baxter and Roo, who brought him endless happiness and companionship.
Scott's greatest love was his husband, Marcus Guimond, with whom he shared a life built on love, laughter, and unwavering support.
He is lovingly survived by his mother, Sandra Vickerson; his father, Walden Vickerson; his brothers, Walden Vickerson IV (Jaleen Vickerson) and Paul Vickerson (Janice Vickerson); his cherished nephews, Derek, Carlos, and Xavier; his husband, Marcus Guimond; his mother-in-law, Tammy Taylor; his father-in-law, Vic Guimond, and stepmother-in-law, Julie Guimond; his sister-in-law, Mckenzie Pratt (Adam Pooler); his brother-in-law, Anthony Caskin (Patrick Caskin); and his beloved grandparents-in-law, David and Lila Berube. Scott also leaves behind many extended family members, dear friends, and everyone whose lives were enriched by his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.
Scott will be remembered for his caring heart, adventurous soul, and the genuine way he connected with others. Whether exploring a hiking trail, planning his next trip, enjoying a favorite game, or simply relaxing with Baxter and Roo, Scott embraced life's simple pleasures and shared them generously with those he loved. His memory will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Scott's life, share memories, and celebrate the love and joy he brought to so many.
Though Scott's time with us was far too short, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
