OAKLAND, MAINE—Michael Alan Davis, 69, passed away at Maine General Hospital in Augusta, Maine on June 30, 2020, following a long illness. He was born in Hartland, Maine on October 13, 1950, the son of Warren E. Davis and Vivian A. (Morgan) Davis. He graduated from Williams High School and enjoyed golfing, fishing, camping and making fishing flies. Michael was predeceased by his parents; his brother, James A. Davis; and his sister, Terry Davis Shahin. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara Bernier and her husband, David of Oakland, Maine, Patricia Thul and her husband, Michael of East Corinth, Maine, Susan Davis of Oakland, Maine, Shirley Axtell of Summerville, South Carolina, Gwen Smith and her husband, Andrew of Lincoln, Maine, and Kathy Davis of Oakland, Maine. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at a later date.
