Cathy Marie Cecchini (Big B), 57, passed away unexpectedly at home on March 13, 2025. Cathy was born in Montreal, Canada on April 18,1967 to the late Romuald and Chantal (Michaud) Ouellet. She was married to Richard Cecchini for 31 years, and had two children, Savanna Lindee and Damian Ouellet. Cathy and Richard also fostered a son, Vincent Asarisi, who they loved as one of their own. Cathy was a social butterfly; she loved spending time with family and friends. She loved her dogs Stella and Stash, and her grand-pups Sky and Koda. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and trying new recipes. She enjoyed catching up with friends whether it was lunch dates or girls' weekend at Moosehead Lake. Cathy had an empathetic heart and the gift of helping others process through their grief. Cathy is predeceased by her daughter, Savanna Lindee, her mother and father Chantal and Romuald Ouellet, her brother Mario Ouellet, and nephew Dominic Ouellet. Cathy will be dearly missed and survived by her husband, Richard Cecchini, her son Damian and his wife Stephanie Ouellet, and foster son Vincent Asarisi. She will also be missed dearly by extended family and friends. A memorial service will take place on Friday April 18, 2025 at Veilleux Redington Lawry Brothers Funeral Home at 8 Elm Street Waterville, Maine 04901. Service hours will be from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Waterville Area Humane Society in Cathy's memory.
