Kenneth A. Knight, Jr. (“Kenny”) was born December 28, 1948, to Kenneth and Virginia Knight. Kenny left us and joined his beloved son, Andrew on June 12, 2026. He was predeceased by his son, parents, and siblings: Vernon, Genie, Eddie, Denny, Donnie, Joyce and Esther. He is survived by his loving wife, Jackie of Rome and his family: daughter Kelly and son-in law, Jeff of New Hampshire; daughter Jody of Rome; adopted son, Brian Ferrara of Mercer; daughter-in-law Jody of Oakland; grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Sadie, Jacob, Alexa, Zackary, Matthew, Alana and Alysa; his “boys”: Brandon and Jordan; and his adopted daughter Chelsay Evans with her four children: Lily, Brody, Bryce and Charlotte. 

Being part of a large family, he is also survived by brother Dana and his wife Sandra, sisters Rolene Harris and Linda Rackliff with her husband Herbie, sister-in-law Debbie Knight; brother-in-law Gary Paul; sister-in-law Leatrice; sister-in-law Karen Giordano, with her husband Sonny and his entire NJ family, as well as sister-in-law Debbie Lefleur. He had many nieces and nephews and was loved as “Uncle Kenny”. His favorite past-times were hunting with the boys and Sadie, his getaways up at camp with his nephews, watching the races and cheering against any team that was not New England based…go Yankees and 49ers.

His will be missed by his family, many friends and of course his grand-dogs: Louie, Wrigley, Griffin and his gift to Alysa: Charlie. 

The burial will be at Brookside Cemetery in Rome, Maine on July 11, 2026, at 11:00 am. Family and friends are welcome to join the celebration of life immediately after at the Town Hall.
