Belgrade- Joanne Cattley, 78, passed away December 16th, 2022, at MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta. She was born November 21st, 1944, in Lynn, MA the daughter of Robert and Louise (Nyquist) Gowen. She graduated UNH with her master’s degree in chemistry. She worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation. Joanne met the love of her life, Ron Cattley, at a music festival in Massachusetts, together they shared 61 years. She is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband; two brothers, Richard Gowen of York, ME, and Paul Gowen of Richardson, Texas; two nieces Heather of Darian, CT and Holly of Presque Isle, ME.
