Vassalboro, ME- Dorothy E Kingsbury (Dottie), passed away peacefully on December 6,2022 at the age 69. Dottie was born in Hartford, CT on March 16, 1953, the daughter of Herbert and Florice (Flo) (Harris) Elwell. Dottie was employed as a Home Health Aid for many years. She enjoyed baking especially making and decorating cakes for special occasions. Dottie was predeceased by both of her parents, and her son Mark Varney. She is survived by her husband of 30 years Bruce Kingsbury; daughter Beth Gagne and her husband Sam of Poland; daughter Lisa Lagasse and her partner Chuck Knight of Connecticut; daughter Amy York and her husband Jason of Winslow; stepson Torrey Kingsbury of Sidney; her brother David Elwell and wife Vicki of Virginia; nieces Christin and Morgan and their spouses; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 12 pm Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Sawtelle Cemetery in Sidney, Maine. A gathering to be held immediately after the service at the Parsonage House 276 Dunham Rd. Vassalboro, Maine.
