Dale Douglas Everett, 71, of Waterville, Maine, passed away on May 26, 2026. Dale was born on May 14, 1955, in Skowhegan, Maine, and was the son of Robert Everett and Lynette (Bailey) Dame. In the late 1950s, Dale moved with his family from Maine to Connecticut, where he grew up and later became a truck driver. He eventually returned to Maine in the early 1990s, where he worked as a custodian for the local school district and KVCAP. When he wasn't working, Dale enjoyed spending time with friends and riding around the loop. Dale was a man who loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren. He loved teasing them, making them laugh, and often acted like a kid right alongside them. His playful nature, sense of humor, and loving heart brought joy to those around him. Dale also had a special love for his dogs, who were treasured companions throughout his life. He was predeceased by his beloved chihuahua, Peanut, and is survived by his little chihuahua, Cocoa, who will live out the rest of her days with his significant other, Cheryl. Dale was predeceased by his parents, Robert Everett and Lynette (Bailey) Dame; his sister, Kathy Everett; and his brothers, Jerry Everett and Robert Everett Jr. He is survived by his significant other, Cheryl Paddack; his daughters, Kayla Casler and her husband, Jonathan Casler, and Tammy Furbush and her husband, Justin Furbush; his beloved grandchildren, Reace, Wyatt, Riot, and Raven Casler, and Meraina, Rowan, and Fayth Furbush; his siblings, Jeff Everett, Peggy Everett Dummitt, and Pattie Everett Randlett; along with many family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Dale's memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love shared by his family and all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. A memorial service for Dale will be held on Saturday, June 6, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fairview Grange in Smithfield, Maine.
