Cindy L Whitney, a loving mother and nana passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2024. Cindy was born in Waterville Maine on November 24th, 1970. Cindy is survived by her parents Virgil and Gail Whitney, and stepmother Betty Whitney; her children Cathleen and husband David Fish and their children D.J. and Amelia Fish; Victoria Fortier and fiancé Myles Watson and their son Lee Watson; Her daughters' father Frank Esancy; her brother Mark Whitney and wife Cathy Luce; her step siblings Glen Giroux and Lisa Nadeau; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Cindy was a devoted dog mom and leaves behind her pug Gilbert and English Bulldog Gilmore. Being a nana was Cindy's calling and she wore the title with great pride, always telling stories and showing off pictures of her grandbabies to everyone and anyone who would listen. Cindy and her girls had a bond like no other and you would often find them laughing at their inside jokes. A celebration of life will be held on November 24th at 12pm at the Fairfield VFW. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the local animal shelter to honor Cindy's love of animals.
