It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Cameron Frasier Lafleche, 29, of Winslow, Maine, on August 27, 2026. Cameron was often described as a bright light - someone who was accepting, loving, and comforting. He had a free spirit, carried himself with positivity, and brought laughter to those around him with his humorous personality. He leaves behind a memorable imprint on the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

Cam was born on July 15, 1997 in Rockport, ME, to Mark Lafleche and Gayle Fraser. He attended Appleton Village School for early education and went on to attend Camden Hills Regional High School, graduating in the class of 2015. He attended Husson University in 2016.

In his earlier years, Cam grew a deep love for the game of baseball. His childhood was spent playing wiffle ball with his sister in their front yard and little league games on Appleton Ridge, where his passion started to take shape. He went on to win the 2007 KSLL Championship and was named a KS All-Star from 2008-2010. During his early teenage years, he played middle school baseball along with Babe Ruth, where he and his team won the 2012 Championship. He finished his baseball career at Camden Hills, playing all 4 years and ending his senior season as a 2015 Class B State Championship runner-up. His love for the sport grew into a lifelong devotion for the Boston Red Sox.

Cameron spent his recent working years as a beloved member of the Charlie’s Toyota family. His love and enthusiasm for his job and coworkers was felt by everyone he worked with. Cam was described as hard working and the key to their team - always positive and wanting the best for all of his coworkers. He was known for being the first one at work, greeting everyone in the morning with his infectious smile and spending his breaks dancing carelessly to the beat of his own drum.

Outside of work, Cam had a special place in his heart for his cats, Bolin and Mako. He loved his fury companions deeply and found comfort and companionship in them. They were an important part of his everyday life and brought him a kind of happiness that only they could.

As Cam grew older, his love for music led him to discover the world of EDM, raves, and music festivals, where he found a community that meant so much to him. He loved the energy, the music, and most of all, the people and sense of belonging that came with it. Cam embraced the spirit of PLUR—Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect—and carried those values with him, believing in creating a space where everyone could feel accepted, connected, and free to be themselves.

Whether surrounded by friends or dancing among strangers who quickly felt like family, Cam found something special in the EDM community. His passion for the music and the people he shared it with became an important part of who he was and the joy he brought into the lives of others.

Cameron is survived by his father, Mark Lafleche; his mother, Gayle Fraser; his sister, Gillian Lafleche; and his fiancée, Emily Cervone-Richard’s, who is carrying their first child. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Joan and Paul Fraser; his aunt, Karyn Fraser; his aunt and uncles; Amy and Tom Begonis and Lesley and Michael Amburg; and his cousins, Joshua Grygorcewicz and Shawn Amburg. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Charlene Cove and Rene Lafleche.

A memorial service for Cameron will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, 2:00pm at 25 Stoney Brook Dr. in Mount Vernon, Maine. In keeping with Cam’s free spirit and laid-back nature, his family invites everyone to come as they are. Comfortable attire is encouraged, and guests are invited to embrace their own style and bring a little bit of Cam’s spirit with them.
