Betty J (Wrigley) Pierce died on August 25, 2025. She was born on December 29,1947 to James Kenneth Wrigley and Hilda Mary (Murray) Wrigley. Betty graduated from Williams High School in 1966. Shortly after graduation, she started to work for the Department of Public Safety Maine State Police. She remained there until her retirement in July of 2003. Betty enjoyed crocheting, reading and stock car racing; she especially enjoyed attending the races often with her husband. Betty was predeceased by her mother and father, sisters Alice and Beverly, nephews John and James and her infant granddaughter Madison. Betty is survived by her husband Thomas Pierce, daughter Heidi, granddaughter Olivia and boyfriend Donavan, brother Dana, (Marie) and nephew Dana Jr (Bill). She is survived by several great nieces and nephews. Per Betty's wishes there will be no funeral services. A graveside service will be at Pine Grove Cemetery in Belgrade on September 19, 2025, at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakland Sidney United Methodist Church Food Pantry, PO Box 194 Oakland, ME 04963.
