Alice L. (Wentworth) Mosher 1927-2022 ROME--Born in Waterbury, CT on November 26th, 1927, Alice was the eldest daughter of Guy and Pearl Wentworth. She passed at her daughter's home with family at her side on August 17th, 2022. She is survived by all her children, Gary and wife, Mary, Mosher of Rome, Jean and husband, Cliff, Fletcher of Manchester, Sandy and wife, Cindy, Mosher of Rome, and Jana and husband, Tom, Patten of Rome. She is also survived by her two youngest sisters, Carolyn Brown of Rome and Shirley Jackson of Turner, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, of 69 years, Alton Mosher and her two sisters, Audrey Vogt, and Florence Tracy. Known to so many as Nana, she spent her life caring for others. Children that she provided care for as infants became lifelong family members. Her passions included her pets, reading, and her extraordinary talent for handwork. Spending countless hours sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cross stitch; most of which became gifts for others. Her kind heart and loving smile will be greatly missed. Heaven truly gained a most beautiful angel. Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, from 2 to 4pm at Wheelers Funeral Home at 26 Church St in Oakland, ME.
